Lone Tree Recreation Center
Located in the RidgeGate Development, the new Lone
Tree Recreation Center is the result of a collaborative effort between the City of Lone Tree and South Suburban Parks & Recreation District (SSPRD). Among other factors, city contributions helped secure
the center and construction began in 2003. Ahead of schedule, the Lone Tree
Recreation Center opened its doors on May 1, 2004.
The Lone Tree
Recreation Center provides Lone Tree residents and other District Members with a first-class
facility designed to enhance their quality of living.
Health and fitness amenities of the facility include:
- Full-size gymnasium
- Fitness area including cardiovascular machines,
circuit equipment and free weights
- Aquatics area including leisure pool and water
slide, lap lanes and whirlpool
- Locker rooms (men's, women's and family)
- Aerobics room
- Running track
- Racquetball courts
In addition, the facility includes:
- Babysitting room
- Multi-purpose rooms for pre-paid programs,
meetings and events
- Catering kitchen
- Crafts room
- Administrative offices
The recreation center is located in Lone Tree at the intersection of
RidgeGate Circle and Rose Tuggle Lane in the RidgeGate
Development. The site is located adjacent to a future park that will be used jointly by an elementary school and SSPRD.
