With a spectacular view of the foothills as well as Denver, Sedalia, Colorado is a beautiful town in
the SW Denver Metro Area. Located in Douglas County, many people find this place great for enjoying different outdoor activities.
Sedalia, Colorado has been known for its Dude Ranches and Country entertainment.
Those traveling south on U.S. 85 toward Castle Rock or those looking for adventures in the Pike National
Forest will have to pass through Sedalia to get there. While new communities are being developed on either side of Sedalia,
the tiny community has managed to keep many of its quaint qualities. Several older buildings and homes remain in the area
and a few craft shops and restaurants are all within walking distance of the town’s heart—the old rail line. The
corner bar is also a favorite for bikers making the scenic rides along the two thoroughfares.
Cherokee Ranch is one
structure in Sedalia that’s impossible to miss. The Scottish-style castle, which towers on a knoll above town, is filled
with art and collections from all over the world. The ranch’s famed works include fifteenth- and sixteenth-century European
paintings and original drawings by Sir Christopher Wren, the architect of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. Cherokee is
also a working cattle ranch with over 3,000 acres of open space.
Those seeking outdoor adventure rather than art will
enjoy spectacular fly fishing along the South Platte River west of Sedalia. Hiking and biking trails and camping facilities
also abound throughout the Rampart Range in Pike National Forest, also due west of town.

From Colorado Springs, CO
take I-25 NORTH towards DENVER , then take exit #184 towards (NORTH US-85).
Turn Right on US-85 NORTH. Turn Left on CO-67. Turn Left on W PLATTE AVE
which becomes KARCHER ST. Arrive at the center of Sedalia, Colorado.
From Denver International Airport
Take ramp onto I-70 WEST. Take exit #282 towards COLORADO SPRINGS/AURORA
onto I-225 SOUTH. Take exit #1A towards COLO SPRINGS
onto I-25 SOUTH. Take exit #187 towards HAPPY CANYON
ROAD . Turn Right on US-85. Turn Left on on CO-67. Turn Left on W PLATTE
AVE which becomes KARCHER ST. Arrive at the center of Sedalia, Colorado.
